Solution for black screen and stuck on the logo of Apple: reset iphone

From my own experience I know that this is a very convenient solution when your iPhone is no longer working. Yet this is difficult to find  on the Internet, so here’s what you can do if you only get a black screen if your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo or anything else that your iPhone is not normal anymore.

Note the timing is important to  reset iphone:

  1. Press and hold the Power button and make sure that your iPhone is off completely.
  2. Press and hold the Power button and the Home button at the same time.
  3. Keep these two buttons simultaneously pushed for 10 seconds.
  4. After 10 seconds, release the Power button. Continue holding the Home button.
  5. Continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds.

125783-1280 Often it is now working again and you will see the Home screen. If that happens again, or if it is  black screen again, then you can try the above steps again. Even if it does not work, repeat steps a number of times. The timing is very important and it may be that you’ve just pressed a button a bit too short.

For the other method, you need iTunes, this method consists of the method above plus some additional steps. So if you dont  really succeed with the above method then try the following:

  1. Connect your iPhone via USB to your Computer or Laptop
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and then start iTunes.
  3. Press and hold the Power button and make sure that your iPhone is off completely.
  4. Press and hold the Power button and the Home button at the same time.
  5. Keep these two buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
  6. After 10 seconds, release the Power button. Continue holding the Home button.
  7. Continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds.
  8. If it went well, you get the message from iTunes that the iPhone in recovery mode has been detected.
  9. Press the Reset button iPhone
  10. Then press Restore and work at

Causes:

The most common cause of this event is that there is an update failure or you need to install an update. Whether you’ve tried to jailbreak your iPhone and it failed. It may also be that you have installed Jailbreak plugins or apps that do not work well with the current version.

Success!
